I would say the best bang for your buck are brembo blanks. For ~60 dollars a rotor you get a trackable rotor. I consider the cheapest to be like the autozone rotors, and your paying 20 bucks more which isn't bad in my opinion.
Duralast rotors are $30 cheaper than the brembo blanks, and they are very good for a mostly street car.

Oh ok, thanks for the heads up. Duralast rears are still close to like 60 bucks though aren't they? I thought it was mostly the fronts that were a lot cheaper? Maybe I'm thinking of the Aimco ones way back when, and those were pretty much same price as Brembos for rear rotors.

Duralast rears are like $26 and the fronts are like $30.

They just lowered the price of the rears from 60+ to 40!!!! Fronts are $37 in my area. They are on my car. Brembos lasted a bit longer before warping in front
2 year warranty.

My brembos' say made in mexico. I have the boxes sitting on my floor right now.

I have alot more faith in products from Mexico than China, heck the parts for my Sony HDTV were made in Mexico.(most Sonys are assembled there now too)

What happened to the prices of Brembo blanks? They've all gone up $20 in the last month.

I have 30k on my Baer eradispeed rotors and hawk pads, no problems, no warping... I like them, only thing is these hawk pads dust more than people claim.

Everything is going up.... The cost of raw materials, energy to make things and transportation of the stuff to make and deliver them is rising daily. And we're not done either. In talking to one supplier the other day, when the current stock of Brembo's is gone, they'll be going up again.

It's called inflation.

We already have a package like that with the ATE rotors with our BP2 and BP3 (depending on what brake line kit needed if you have ASR/TCS or not).

Given the new costs, I'd have to recommend that over the Brembo's simply because now you are getting the ATE Metacote for pretty close to free, and we have a discount applied. Shipping would run you about $55 (as it's about 90 pounds in total).

Haven't there been recent concern about the quality of Brembo blank rotors from some of the road race guys for our car? Seemed like some people said they were comparable to auto store blanks.... don't quote me on that though. Just trying to bring up the subject. I really don't know

I have baer eradispeed rotors with stock gm pads. They are kind of pricey. My friend has them on his t/a.He told me to spend the money and not to mess around with cheaper rotors. My car stoppes on a dime..I can't tell you how many times these brakes have saved my ***.
They are well worth the money I paid for them.
