Default Bolt on SFC mounting hardware

I have accquired a set of sfc of unknown manufacturer. I need to get the bolts to attach them. Do all SFCs use the same size bolts and attachment places? I thought they were Wwolfe craft, but they said they had never made a bolt on SFC. What should I use?

If you are going to bolt them on, get the largest hardware you can find and put a plate under the nuts on the back side (to help stiffen the mounting location)....or, weld them. Welding gets my vote.

Just my thoughts....

I can make you some mounting hardware I already do for the SFC's I make.
Mounting locations more than likely are the holes in then various frame rails.
1/2-13 Grade 8 bolts will work nicely and yes a large tapped steel plate that these bolt thread into.

do you happen to have the tapped steel plates?

I am building a set of "slp clone" subs, and have built them, all i have left are to thread some 1" bar stock, for the 1/2 bolts i bought.

But if i can get some threaded pieces... will save me lots of time, as i would have to thread by hand not fun.

Ryan.

Whats your price on this kit? Will it work with SLP SFC's?

I can make kit for $25 email me to discuss.

You made your own SFC's that's cool.
We have several things in common.
It's not as hard as you may have been lead to believe.

I'm interested in your design.

I'd like to see those unnamed SFC's
Let me know how far apart you want the tapped holes.

How can you guarantee that your plates fit especially if the holes on the frame aren't always drilled in the same exact places every time.

I will put the holes where you tell me to put them.
I would start by measuring the distance between the centerline of the holes in your bracket.
The hole location in the hardware will match the hole location in the bracket.
As far as where to put the holes in the brackets well now that is the question.
I can guarantee that my hardware will fit my SFC's.

Ryan I would suggest you come up with a unique design instead of an SLP clone.
A clone is never as good as the original.
And in this case the original can definitely be improved upon.
Surely you can be more creative than stealing someone else's design.
