well said lol. all the springs need to do is provide *just* enough resistance to support the car at the desired ride height and *just* enough resistance to keep it from using the rubber bounces; except for only in the hardest corners or high speed road dips that your chassis can provide traction for. beyond that, any more stiffness in the spring doesnt allow the tire to follow the road as well, which will give you a rougher ride, and less traction when you need it most..springs are just there to support/keep the car off the ground, they take forever to wear out and are pretty simple. lowering the car with springs contributes to less body roll and weight transfer around corners which gives you more grip. everything else is suspension geometry, build/frame qualities and shocks
