New rims, need to get rid of the 4x4 look... and upgrade suspension HELP!!!
Well, i got my new rims and tires installed 315 / 35 / R17's in the back, 275 /40 / R17's in the front. Rims are TTM 17x9 front and 17x10.5 rear.
Im looking to get rid of the 4x4 look, and hopefully help with the traction issues i'm sure to have. Right now I'm rolling on 2001 stock suspension.
Was thinking about the eibach prokit as far as springs go, Any ideas if i have to modify my inner fenders or roll the fenders?? Also what kind of shocks should i get???
I am also going to get rear LCA and relocation brackets, and a torque arm as well. Would a PHB be a good idea too??
Any help / info would be highly appreciated.
Thanks...

Shocks will depend on what you want to do. Good ride/handling = something like Konis. Drag racing (kinda stiff, floaty ride, bad handling) = drag shocks.
You should probably just call Sam Strano (sponsor) at stranoparts.com.

Yes, if you haven't had to modify the wells already, then you definitely will when you lower the car. BMR can suit all your suspension needs. You can order all the parts you are looking for from them
I reccommend Strange Engineering shocks, hyperco springs in the front (for coilovers) and BMR progressive springs in the rear. Give Lee at BMR a call and he can set you straight for your application - 813.986.9302

I think i am going to go with the Koni / Strano setup, i called Sam the other day, and hes out of stock on the springs for another month or so...
I think I'm just going to roll around 4x4 till that stuff becomes available!!
Thanks for all the input!

Why not just get the Konis and adj panhard bar now? The sooner you get some good shocks on there the better...

i was going to do that... But Im not sure if i want to do the same job twice basically. Plus I'm going to do the rest of my suspension at the same time (Torque arm + reloc. LCA plus Reloc., etc) but we shall see.
Thanks...

I'd also agree. Swapping the stock springs isn't the most fun thing in the world. If your doing it all eventually in the same year, it would be good to not have to compress stock springs out and swap them more than once. I'd just wait for everything to come in stock and do it all at once.
