OIF1VET, Hurst is also part of our kit setups as well.
Our wiring/switch setup is NHRA legal and safe. In addition to the install components needed...even down to the rubber grommet for the firewall, we include two switches and remote LED indicator. The master toggle switch controls the main circuit, the momentary controls the line lock when you're ready to use it. Do not use/consider a solely a non-momentary switch for activating a line lock solenoid. It is not safe. Our circuitry design works similar to your cruise control circuit.
All fittings come pre-assembled, lines are pre-formed, no Teflon tape is necessary. I believe we are the original manufactures for LT1/LS1 kits back in the 4th gen infantile years.
All kits are in stock and ship within 24 business hours.
We have multiple configurations of line lock kits. Hurst style kits as well. The more expensive Hurst kits are priced accordingly essentially due to the cost of the actual solenoid. One is not better than another because it costs more. So why do we offer it? …To give the users the choice for the ones who “have to have” the Hurst style solenoid. All our solenoids work equally well with little to no discernable differences between them.
SLP's mounting lines looks similar to our front mount kit, that is where the similarity ends. We also have a top mount kit which is slightly easier to install due to the location of the solenoid. If you want a more hidden stealth setup, choose our front mount kit.
To the poster, good luck with the poll and whatever setup you choose. Line lock kits can be a fun and helpful addition to your car. For others considering deleting ABS, we offer a variety of pre-formed pre-assembled kits as well.

like has been mentioned before, the wiring on the SLP is a no no, it's a ground control setup with a toggle!! i've installed a SJM and didnt expect anything less than top notch, it exceeded my expectations. it's a great kit. i built my own but used basically the same noid and bent my own lines to how i liked it. costed me about half the price of the pre assembled kit, but took me a while longer as i was learning this stuff on my own. get the SJM and you can install it in about 45 minutes!

Question for those that got the line lock, how long after the install did it take untill you roasted your tires? I don't go to the track that often (yet), but i know i would probably be a hazard to my tires with that system.
