Ned Suspension for fast in a staright line, not cornering
I am just looking for suspension parts that are going to improve my ability to go fast in a straight line. I do not need any suspension for cornering of asy sort. I am also looking for good ride quality. What do you guys suggest.

Quite a few run QA1 shocks with their(QA1) front springs and stock rear springs. Of course, then there's the torque arm, LCA's, lighter weight front K-member, upper/lower front control arms, subframe connectors, etc. The list goes on and on and on and on....... I don't know much about them, but I believe the Eibach drag launch kit springs are still out there.

personally i think so afcos single or double adjustable coilovers, single adjustable panhard bar and lcas, k member, tunnel brace mounted torque arm, upper and lower a arms and a good set of subframe connectors.

Actually, they probably won't be any different handling and ride wise than stock (maybe a little noisier, if anything). I think the only items that really would affect handling performance in a negative way would be drag race only shocks/struts and springs. All the other items are recommended and would work fine for both.

If you want a real nice ride get Koni SA all around and put them on full soft with stock springs. Will make driving more comfortable and should help down the straight line. Removing the front swaybar will definatelly help down the straight line and make the car really comfortable but it will cost you in the handling department.

I'm kind of in the same boat, track time about once or twice a year and mainly street. Will some SA LCA's and a SA panhard bar be a good choice or is the single ajustable overkill for a mainly street car?

Just get the tires first guys.. Nitto drags or bfg drags. If you still have issues after that then go ahead and try some minor mods like lcs, relo brackets and panhard. But tires alone should take care of most traction issues. I prefer Nittos as they can be driven on the street without issues or extreme wear. Tires are the most important part though...
