Actually, not really .

A poly tranny mount on its own MAY cause increased vibrations inside your car. I suffered this problem, as do many others.

I just installed a set of poly motor mounts this year, in conjunction with the poly trans mount. As others have experienced by doing so, I find that the interior vibrations are SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED!! Almost nil!

I also have a poly Tq arm mount, and I do not find the car very harsh at all.

Perhaps this is my experience only, but I think many people have had good results by going to all poly mounts.

Prothane is currently the only manufacturer who makes the poly motor mounts for the LS1, and they make the tranny mount as well. I'm pretty sure they sell all three as a set. Oh, and I'm sure they have the Tq arm mount too. Energy Suspensions make the tranny & Tq arm mounts, but not the motor mounts.

Hmmm... Guess I'd better hurry up and get my motor mounts in then.

I have prothane motor mounts, trans mount, and torque arm mount. Ride is a little shakier but nothing crazy. I love it.

We offer both Prothane and Energy suspension bushings. I agree that the poly transmission mount is going to add some interior noise to the car but the torque arm and motor mounts don't add any detectable noise at all.

I have a poly tranny mount and stock motor and tq arm mounts. I will soon have poly motor and poly torque arm mounts within a month.

Is it ok to run poly motor mounts and poly torque arm mounts, but a stock rubber tranny mount? I hear a poly might be good for the poly torque arm but, as it is now, just the poly tranny mount makes bad vibrations on the highway.

Thanks, I was just curious as many say a poly tranny mount is highly required if you have an aftermarket tranny mounted torque arm.

There is a thread on here, where the guy from energy suspentions is looking for people to try out the tranny mount and is willing to give you a suspention kit just for taking some measurements and trying the tranny mount. It is in this forum.
