Default Got a little wheel hop!!

Noticed a little wheel hop in the burnout box at the track. Spooked the **** out of me at first. Didn't even get to smoke the tires. With that said I think I need some lower control arms. What else......shocks? Car still has stock suspension. Not planning on lowering it unless that will help stop the wheel hop. Car is a daily driver with 90k miles on it.

That should fix your wheelhop, but you should take your own advice in you original post and look into shocks down the road.

Boola, if your car has stock suspension, lca's and relocation brackets make a huge difference in the way your car performs. We offer two different versions of the brackets, a bolt on version CAB002 for the stock rearend or the weld on ones CAB001 for aftermarket like moser or strange. You can use the weld ons on a stock rear as well. We offer several different types of lower control arms. Here is a link to our suspension page and driveline page. If you have any questions please give us a call.

i just put relocation brackets on my car (bolt in) and it completely eliminated the wheel hop. car plants much harder, you can feel the difference-and this is with stock lca's. i would suggest going with just the brackets right now, being that they are cheaper, and if you still need the lca's you can always order them.

Boola, Yes as mentioned a set of control arm relocation brackets and control arms will make a huge difference.

We carry the relocation brackets in both bolt in and weld in versions and have control arm kits as low as $109.99 a set. I posted a few links below, if you have any questions please ask and I will be glad to help.
