Default Bleeding an ABS unit.

Which device would I need other than the Tech2 programmer to bleed the ABS-unit?

(its an export Z28 1998,with no bleeders on the ABS unit)

I have read the Tech2 is needed to rehome the units inside the abs...

Not sure, but even there are few real Chevy dealerships that could do it ,since the coming of the korean cars being renamed as 'Chevrolet'

Also like to do things as much as I can myself, just are not confident if someone strange touches my car...(had some bad experiences over the years)

Not that I need it right now but just thinking ahead in case anything happens if I replace the brake lines and/or calipers.

lock up the brakes, so The ABS kicks in a few times. I low traffic stoney parking lot works good, then re bleed.

I used a pressure bleeder on mine. Pumped the pressure up to about 20-23psi and went from there. Didnt need to use a tech 2 or anything. No problems since.

He doesn't have bleeder screws on his ABS, only way to bleed is force ABS on while driving or the tech tool.

Good to know there is a way around the techtool,
as said no so easy to find.

so drive, engage abs, then rebleed ,etc ,it sound like a good practical solution,so will do that if required ,thanks for that.

The unit or system looks like its Bosch made , obd2 talks to the ABS over the serial port ,should be able to give the homing command or procedure as a string or such.
But how?

Everybody for the great forum here; I read it with much pleasure and learn a lot!

I am having this problem. Does the LOW TRAC light come when ABS is on?

How do you know if you have bleeder screw on the ABS? I do not see one on mine. Where are they located on the ABS?
