I know how to weld, should I weld in my own SFC's?

I'd reccomend only using a MIG wire feed welder set @ 20amps.
20 Amps??? Sounds a little light. I'd suspect 80+ or even 100 amps (I was up in that area when I welded mine in as well). Remember, when welding upside down, you'll need a little extra current to get the penetration you need.

I with the trackbird on this one.
Welding is like sex you need good penetration as well as puddle control.

i'd just pay someone to do it. I took had my bmr tubular sfc's welded at a shop thats done it before...and it didn't seem very simple.
they took a while to get it done.

for about $65

That's a fair price for welding.
It is simple if you know what your doing
