Plus 1 on that. with it being a long bed its not worth near as much as a short bed.

a good clean long bed can bring a good price if the buyer wants it bad enough. 3-5k for a decent looking one is pretty good price. If its rust free and runs decent and is under 5k I would buy it if I were in your shoes.

long beds arent worth anything. a decent short bed is where the money is at. i can buy 67-72 longbeds running all day long for under 3k around here. Short beds on the other hand are more desirable and bring alot of money. make sure u check the cab cornors and under the dash thats where they rust out bad.

I have had a number of 67-72 C10s...swb's, lwb's, short steps...you name it. I bought my current 70 SWB for 1600.00 with a 350 and TH350. It is a factory air truck and the dash has not been cut. Typical rust issues...rocker panels and front right fender rust is all. I personally wouldnt pay over 2500 for a good, straight rust free 67. I am not a fan of 67 for the small little nit-picky things like the small back window (i am not a fan), the park brake handle, instrument cluster (choke), etc. Piddly, but there are so many of those trucks out there that you can afford to be picky.

I've seen 'em as cheap as $1000 recently here in East TX with a decent body. Don't go get it just to flip it. Only if it's a keeper for you. Cash is king in days like these, so look for a real bargain & be ready to move when you find it.
