Default GI HKE 427 shortblock

I don't have to sell, but I have been thinking about it. 3 options for purchase
OPTION 1.
LS7 block
Callies Dragon Slayer Crank
Callies Compstar Rods
Wiseco Custom pistons
ARP main studs
Barely used .027 cometic head gaskets, Front and rear covers, ls2 valley cover, and harness extensions will come with the short-block.

That is over $400 worth of stuff...

$5500 , prefer not to ship, I will, but buyer pays all shipping and price is firm if I have to ship...

OPTION 2 is the regular shortblock. I will let it go for $5200.

OPTION 3 is option 2 from above plus a ASP underdrive pully, Caddy lifters, f-body oil pan, ARP head studs, and all sensors that attach to the shortblock. (Oil pressure, knock, everything..) $6k

Like I said, I don't have to sale, but it is better than it just sitting around

Assembled by Erik Koenig at HKE.
Motor has about 20 minutes of run time on it. I popped a head and I am just burnt out on the whole thing. Shortblock is in perfect shape. Cylinder walls look brand new. I have parted my car out and this is the last piece.

The heads he put on this short block just had some small water leaks at the seat pockets where they were cut a little bigger and they were thin up there but the engine never had any issues at all. His heads are nice too just needed to fix the few leaks but the head gakets etc. never blew on it so they should also still be good. It has very nice pistons as well with the new GFX .047 rings so very nice stuff in that shortblock.

Erik Koenig built my motor. I am really disappointed that it didn't make 1krwhp. I think I'm going to take it back for a refund!

Seriously, Erik is a great engine builder. This engine is well worth the $$.

Erik has apparently helped figure out what happened to the motor he built. TTP wouldn't even do that for me.

That is why I went with Erik to replace the TTP motor.

Good luck with the sale. I wish I could snag it from you......just waiting on Erik now.

Erik is great to deal with for sure.

Just want to make clear though, the heads were just bolted on by Erik. We got them from another shop and installed them. It was not the other shops fault either, just some casting flaws. Everybody I have dealt with on this has been top notch, I am just ready to drive something and what I want to drive is not im my garage.

Honestly it is hard to say. It was done in about 3 stages. If I add all the bills up it comes to about $10K. If you were to do it once the way I did it, it would be much less than this.

I know I went on the TSP site and priced it out and it was close to $7k, and that is not including the covers, extensions, etc..
