wheels/tires for sale **Trade for Weld pro stars!**
Bought chuprokabras NBM z/28 last friday, if you have any questions about these wheels im sure he would be happy to answer.
"The wheels are DPE R05-S Variants. 18x9 fronts with 275/35/18 Nitto Invos. 18x10 rears with 295/35/18 Nitto Invos. To my knowledge, these are still the ONLY set in existence for a 4th gen F-body. Lugnuts are Gorilla chrome, one lock per lug (key and code tag included, of course)"
These wheels were purchased last year and have roughly 3000 miles, excellent condition with the exception of three little spots, which i have posted down below.
I know people say all the time that pictures dont do wheels justice, but this time its true, infact i didnt want to buy his car with these wheels from the pics posted online, but in person i fell in love with them!
Price $2,700.00 OBO

you got yourself a hell of a car. and those "scratches" on the rim are damn near non existant. i saw them in person and i hard a hard time locating them. they just look really effed up in the picture.

Im trying to get a buddy of mine to come over and slip these wheels on his C5 to see what they look like, i bet pretty sharp!

At the time, I had these wheels on the car:
Those are Fikse FM5s, black anodized centers with polished hoops. 17x9.5 on all four corners. I loved the FM5s, but I wasn't crazy about the blue car/black wheels look, so I was going to purchase another set of FM5s with the Technipolish finish. I contacted Nine Ball, who sells many high-end wheels, about getting the FM5s. He showed me some pictures of the R05-S Variants, and they blew me away. They were about $300 more than what he quoted me for the 17x9.5/17x11 FM5s, but when you're talking about forged, two-piece wheels, that's not much, especially when you consider how unique they are. FM5s are by no means common, but it was pretty cool knowing I was the ONLY guy with those DPEs on a 4th-gen F-body.
So far, to my knowledge, DPE has made two sets of wheels for 4th-gen F-bodies. One was the set I bought (the R05-S) and the other was their R16 design.

Personally, I thought the R16's were too "busy" for a Camaro. A guy with a white Trans Am bought them, and they ended up looking great on his car.
I paid $3250 for the wheels, plus about $1000 for the tires. If someone purchases them for $2700, that's a hell of a deal. And, having dealt with the selller (I sold him that car and those wheels), I can vouch that he's a good guy.

nice rims and if I can get back into a transam something I will strongly consider.. I should know here today or tomarrow if I am getting a TA again.
