Default F/S MSD 6 Offroad Box

wow i didnt even know i still had this lol

For sale is an msd 6 offroad box, the black one. I am the original owner, i bought it from jegs in 06 or 07 and it was installed on my 97 suburban for a year and a half or so. I took the box off after i totaled the truck.

this is the original box, all paperwork that came with it, all harnesses, everything. Part number 6470

it made a significant difference in low end power, earned me a mile or 2 per gallon and made towing much easyer.

100 bucks. Im on the west side of Houston.

*EDIT* Price Change, BEST OFFER TAKES IT

more pics and fitment info added further down

I tried uploading more pics but it turned into a giant headache, i will try again if you want but rather than pics of the connectors the instructions have diagrams on how to install it on many different style ignitions.

the install instructions show as follows:

MSD Systems
Install to points/amplifier style ignition
Install to Distributor/crank trigger
""to MSD distributor PN 8360
""with timing control (points/amplifier)
""typical drag race setup with timing control and two step selector
""dual MSD's with PN 8301 switch
""complete dual MSD ignition setup

GM Ignitions
Install with dual connector coil
""96 and up single connector coil without harness
""with and MSD Harness
""With MSD Harness and Timing Control
""GM large cap HEI 4-PIN modual (Magnetic Pickup Trigger)
""GM large cap HEI 5 or 7-PIN ( amplifier trigger)

Ford Ignition
Ford Duraspark using White Wire Trigger
Duraspark using Magnetic Pickup Trigger
Ford TFI without harness
Ford TFI with harness PN 8874

Chrysler Ignitions
Chrysler Electronic Ignition using magnetic pickup trigger
Late model Dodge with 2 Pin connector
Jeep with integrated Coil/module assembly

Honda Ignitions
Honda with Internal Coil
Honda with Blaster Coil and Power Cap
Factory external coil honda/acura

General Import Wiring
just has a diagram with notes

Misc
Wiring a Mallory 9000 using magnetic pickup
Mallory Unilite or 9000 using points trigger
wiring to a Pertronix Ignitor Kit

Once again, everything that came with it brand new is with it now.

Still want pics say the word, If you see what diagram applys to you and want me to look and post pics of the Applicable Wiring will do that too.

to be honest the pics of the connectors wont do much good because most manufactures make the same connectors in different sizes, plus MSD has it set up so that its very plug and play. Most of the pigtails that came with it are vehicle specific and only make sense when lookin at the diagram.

I find it hard to believe that nobody wants better gas milage in an economy like this, havent even had a lowballer.

this is a plug and play deal for any single coil ignition. so literaly you could touch positive and negative to the batt and plug the coil in in 2 min and itall work, aside from mounting the box. 10 min install tops and nobodys interested?
