2001 Chevrolet Silverado RCSB 5.3, 20's, Leather - $7250
2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RCSB
156,125
Price - SOLD SOLD SOLD...
I WILL TRADE FOR A 2002-2006 CREW CAB CHEVROLET OR GMC 1500 PLUS CASH ON MY END
Up for sale is my 2001 Chevy Silverado. The truck is two tone Charcoal Gray w/ Pewter full ebony leather interior. It's a pretty rare combination to have but the truck is full power optioned with the larger 5.3 V8. I installed the leather seats with center console myself and they have full power adjustments. The dash is clean with no fading or cracking and the carpet, seats and headliner are in very good shape. The truck's exterior is very clean as you can see in the pictures. The paint is in great shapes and there are only a few dings and scratches on the truck. The truck makes outstanding power and is nowhere near the end of it's life. The transmission is in great shape and was rebuilt around 25k miles ago with all original parts. It's in great condition. All the cars accessories work great and are in good shape. THE CAR'S A/C SYSTEM IS ICE COLD AND DOES NOT LEAK. Now for some specifics on the truck:
INDUCTION
Cold Air Intake System
EXHAUST
Pacesetter Long Tube Headers
Pacesetter Off Road Y Pipe
Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler
DRIVELINE
2/4 Drop using shackles and hangers on the rear
20" Scar Face Wheels w/ General 275/45/20 tires that have 60% remaining.
APPEARANCE
Clear Corners
03+ GM Tail Lights
Molding Delete
PROBLEMS
-SES is on for an O2 Sensor
PICTURES (I will be adding more. The passenger side is just as clean as the driver's side I just ran out of battery in my camera.)
I'm looking to sell the truck in the next few weeks and I'm asking $7,250 or best offer. I have a clean Texas title with no liens and am free to sell the car at anytime. I will take any reasonable offers and I'm willing to meet half way with the car as long as I don't need to travel more than 100 miles. The truck is ready to drive and has current stickers. Feel free to call me and schedule a test drive or just come take a look at it and if you're in the market for a clean Chevy truck you will most likely love it. If you have any additional questions or would like specific shots of anything on the truck please call or txt me anytime @ 979.255.7764 or email me at jgroce@kbsi.com.
Thanks for looking...

Beautiful Truck...
not being a pecker head or nothing, but a simple o2 issue, i would get it fixed.
that would probably help the sale.
or drop the price for a new set of cats.
o2 just dont go bad,its usually do to faulty cat or cats, just my experience.
been there......
just sayen.

Yea I may just throw the o2 in it and remove that part in the ad. It still gets 20MPG on the highway with the a/c off so I really didn't worry about it. I've data logged it and it switches just fine.

5.3's are a dime a dozen but the motor does not burn or drip a drop of anything. The oil is dead on full up at 3,000 miles and still the same color as when it went in. My dads 2001 just hit 220k and has zero issues other than an alternator that went out. I'm plenty confident this one is good to go. I would drive it anywhere at the drop of a hat.

moral of story if the truck has an 02 code its probably just the 02, tell me the code and ill tell you if its safe to assume its the sensor or if you should further investigate, feel free to PM me.

00pooterSS, im glad you know your stuff.(really)
but i have learned in all my years, that if my son comes home with a broke leg,and i ask him how did you break your leg?
he says it just broke,im gonna tell him he's full ****.
Hence, more than likely the o2 sensor or sensors arent just going bad, just to go bad.
at 150k miles. i be willing to say replace the cats and o2s for a good cause.
nobody wants to buy a Vehicle with a SES light on.
"I DONT"
Especially when its measly $40-$50.
