selling firehawk hood
Bought this from strokerblackhawk on here in Sept of 08. I know he's a member on here so maybe he can vouch on its condition. It's been sitting in my room since then, I was going to put it on my formula but never had the extra cash to have it painted, and now I picked up a ws6 so id rather have cash for now instead of sitting on the hood. Prefer pick up or maybe meet up for a little extra cash. Its painted black but not good, I was told it wasn't prepped before being painted. Its missing one of the small heat extractor vents which is $20 on slp. Heres the link from when I bought it. https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-...ood-price.html Just want what I paid which is $450, Hood is located in Huffman
If you have a trans am or firebird front bumper it will require some cutting. Im not exactly sure how much though. Best way to reach me will be my cell 832-493-3627 call or text, Luis
Thanks

From what i was told and can see, yes.
Also forgot to mention the bottom was sprayed nbm blue but not cleared yet. Long story short- I sold it to a guy and he said his body guy told him it would work, then after he sprayed the bottom he took his TA up there. Body guy said he would have to cut his front bumper so owner of TA changed his mind. Hes a good friend so I gave the money back and now its for sale again...

yes the hood was almost brand new except for the company that painted the hood didnt block sand it before they painted it so it had a spider webb looking finish to it when i sold it, my original hood wasnt that bad (literally like a half penny sized piece of fiberglass chipped off on the under side of the hood) so i put it back on and sold the spare hood. last time i saw it, all the mesh grates were with it, the firehawk nose piece was there and it was in excellent shape. the only thing is you have to modify the stock hood latch to relocate the hood release, and as stated you have to trim the bumper coverlike maybe an inch.
dirty if you buy the hood hit me up and i can send pictures of the modified latch and how the bumper is trimmed, hell if you wanna come look at how mine is on my car hit me up. good luck with the sale!!!!
