I don't mean to be a negative nancy about this but your really kinda pushing it wanting to trade a stockish high mileage slushbox vette for a low mileage modded F-Body, especially with forged motors. Just sayin'

Have you owned a c5? I have owned both and I can promise you the vette is definetly ahead of the fbody. Not sure why you call them slush boxes but I guess its your opinion. As far as pushing it on wanting a heavily modded fbody for my vette well for an fbody to be worth as much as my 01 vette with 110,000 miles it will have to have low miles and have some nice mods. If I don't come across a nice low mileage fbody with the mods Im looking for I'll go forward with putting a 408 in my vette. You can buy fbody with 130k miles on them for 5 or 6 grand. You cant even get a rolling vette chassis for that. "Just Sayin"

I think with the whole, "Your car plus money for my vette" outlook your going to be a little disappointed with what you'll find, especially considering the collector status that the 4th gens are acquiring.
FYI - slushbox = automatic

Not to mention in KBB.Com a 2001 Camaro Z-28 with 65k goes for $7140.00 and an SS goes for $9,345.00 and both of these prices were done in excellent condition.
KBB Does not mean **** unless you are a bank. There is no doubt the Vette is worth 3-5k over an F-body...
Red281gt, If there is no differance then why is KBB showing the SS worth $2,200.00 more than the Z-28? There is a differance, Value/Re-sale

I'm not debating that the Corvette isn't a better built car, but you got an automatic, non-FRC basically stock vette. And it's not exactly low mileage either. 110,000 miles for an 01 is practically daily driver territory. My F-bodies an 01 with 65K miles and most wouldn't consider that super low mileage.

Collector status huh that's funny. For an fbody to be at collector status it better have under 10k miles. That's would even be questionable.

Well my offer sets on the table but I'm not putting cash in .... there is two good pics my car launching at the track and my buddie stevie told me u trying to trade for his bagged truck? That thing is super clean also

Yeah an even trade for your cam only car is not gonna happen. Your car is worth at the most. $10,000 or $10500. My vette at the least 12500 to 13500. I have no intrest in a truck exspecialy not a reg. Cab that's over 20 years old. I tell you what since you guys like kbb value how about I put a cam and bolt ons on my care and you pay me the difference between the kbb of mine and yours?

cool with me .. I would just like a vett but ill stay with my super clean mint condition REGULAR camaro , btw the motor out of it is a 2004 z06 motor , maybe 15k miles ... so my bad is not cam only lol it has the ls6 heads , ported tb , k&N intake , kooks lts , 3 in y ppe , cut out , magnaflow , suspension all around , built auto with circle d 3500 stall , built 10 bolt , black tt2s , nt05rs 315 in the back ... and maybe others im missing , ill put a 150 on this thing and run a 10 with traction not being an issue

My brother owns the Vette and he will trade with whoever he feels like trading with. If he wants to trade for an SS then that is his decision. I already told him if it was my Vette I would not trade it for a Camaro…

Different strokes for different folks I guess, I would much prefer a nice clean lower mileage modded fboat over an older, higher mileage stock base model C5. "Just sayin"
