I am seriously thinking about tradeing my 2001 black on black c5 corvette for a clean fbody or gto. I hate to do it but I want something with a back seat for my kids.
The car has right at 110,000 miles on it. Its an automatic with pretty much all options includeing heads up display. Interior is custom black leather with red stiching. A/C and every thing else works on the car. Tire have 50% or more tread on them. Only mods on the car are vararam intake and slp loud mouth exhaust. Paint is probly a 7.5 or 8 on a 1-10 scale because of rock chips and minor scratches and im pretty picky. Interior is a 9 out of 10 only because of the headliner other than that interior is perfect. I will try to get the head liner replaced also if time alows its like $70 if that.

Im looking to trade for a clean low mileage ss or ws6 that is nicely modded or maybe GTO. Not to crazy about GTO's so thats just a maybe. Looking for something preferably with forged motor with nice heads and cam set up and preferably 12 bolt or 9 inch. Prefer stalled auto but will look at a 6 speed. If I had to put a price on my car it would be $14500 cash. Please dont bother with lowball offers because im not even really looking to sell.

well motor wise the formula has a forged 6k mile 347 with CNC ported LS6 Heads, 220/224 Comp Cam, with 7.4 pushrods, Valve Springs, Retainers, LS2 oil pump, Injectors LS6 Manifold Ported TB. Other mods, K&N FPIK, Ceramic Lt headers, ORY, Borla Catback, 3.42 Rearend, 25% UDP, 3600 Stall, A4 Circle D Built Transmission,

Yep I will post over there also. Man I kind of hate going back to an fbody but it suck not being able to take both my kiddos with me.

 

What are you considering low mileage? I have a black on black WS6, 6sp, 9in, cam only with 86k... Wanting a C5 but with a little less mileage...

low mileage to me is under 70k. If it has more than that not interested in an even trade but might work something out with cash difference.

I know what you mean, I can only take them one at a time these days. But for the most part, it's rare that I have both kids and the wife is out. Usually I can just have her take the C4 (it's an auto) and can keep the SUV.

 

Yea if I dont find something pretty nice that I like I will just keep the vette and go ahead with the 408 and stall I had planned for it. I have plenty of other things to drive that will carry the whole family it would just be nice to have a toy every one could go some where in every now and then.

 

We're thinking along the same lines. I'm actually going to look at a '54 Chevy Bel Air Sedan tomorrow that needs a good bit of work, but could easily carry all of us. I think it would be fun to cruise around with the whole family.

 

I have a 2000 Z with 57k going on 58k with built tranny , stall , built 10 bolt , suspension, Brand new black ttms , has a Ls6 motor from a Z06 take off , baby cam , Made 388 on motor , best out of her 12.2 @ 115 mph ... Ill be having some good pics soon ... what side of town u stay on?
