Like I said in the PM, I wouldn't do it.

Plus if your getting 13 mpg in your v... well you won't be getting that in the car you talked about.....

Bored Bump to see what happens.

Edit: And if you want to know the MPGs, I get 12 to 15 MPGs on a combined tank with VERY spirited driving. But on the Highway, at 55mph ~27mpg and at 75 ~24mpg. Just drove (Today) from Abilene to Haslet to Southern Fort Worth to Cisco on 15.3 gallons. Tank consisted of several pulls, in town driving, and 75% Highway at an average speed of 73-77mph. Got almost 23 (22.878 hand calculated) over the ~350 miles.

Nice to finally see a V selling for damn near pefectly what it's worth. Tired of seeing worn out 04's with 90k+ miles for $20k. Damn good looking car, what are you thinking about getting?

Damn! If it were automatic I would have a better chance of talking my wife into it. She can drive standard, but complains about it in traffic.
...or I can put her in my truck!
How long you going to keep it up for sale?

Thanks, I would like to get more (but who wouldnt want more, haha). I know mods dont add value to the car, but asking full Private Party Value is fair IMO.

I am thinking about getting a C6 Z06...or a Second Gen V. But that is several months (close to a year i bet) a ways.

Not sure...depends on the offers I get, and if I can find something that will tide me over until I find the "perfect" Z or V2.

I added some interior shot of the car. Sorry its dirty and clutter, I randomly decided to take them at 450am today.

Car currently has almost 45,700 miles on the clock. Motor Oil and Rear Differential gear oil was change at 45,000 on the dot.

what brand/model/size are the wheels/tires?

where about in DFW are you located?

i assume with the re-tune, you cant run 87 octane anymore (i'd be interested in this car as a DD)

Exceptionally clean car Cole - really wish I had the liquidity to take it off your hands, but I refuse to take on a car payment - GLWS

Cant/shouldnt run 87 anyways if its stock. On a 15 gallon tank its only an extra $4 for 93 over 87 so who cares.

brand is Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 Wide Oval. Fronts are 245/45R18 and the rear is 275/40R18. I like the tires, minimal road noice and great grip for the price.

Not in DFW, I live in Abilene. But I frequent DFW very often. I grew up in Ft Worth.

What Pwebbz28 said. from the factory, it was tune to run 91. the dyno tune was done with 93 in the tank. so i get the best out of here with 93. she just doesnt get it very often since there is not that many gas stations here that have 93. the tank size is about 18 gallons.
The the red...

the manual says 91 recommended, 87 can be used with 'reduced performance'. assuming GenIV is just like Gen III, it has a high and low octane table in the computer... but i was just asking, because when tunes are done, they usually only tune the high octane table.

But are you saying you would actually put 87 in the car? That would be counter productive since going to a lower octane table will take away performance thus using more gas to do the same thing. I'm trying to figure out how 30 cents a gallon makes a difference

i needed gas once and the only gas station i could make it too only had regular. i put in to get me up to the next station with out worry. and those 53.2 miles the car ran like complete ****. at 70-75 mph i will average 24-26 mpg, with the 87 in the take i got was getting 20-22 and it completely zapped its power. it felt like a normal CTS, which is unaccpectable in my book, haha. i normally have 91 in the take, and there is a little less power and slight lower mpgs, but it still just really good. so the only thing that has been in the tank since that little oops has been 91 or 93.

im not saying i would, i was just asking if you COULD. thats all it was, just a simple question about the tune since i know you can in a stock car.
