Chris Frank Ported LS1 Heads
Chris Frank Ported LS1 Heads I have some Chris Frank ported 98 model year LS1 heads.
Trying to remember all the details as it was done a few years ago but here is what I remember off the top of my head:
Dual PRC valve springs (Brand new NEVER ran) good to .650 lift
Titanium retainers/locks blah blah
3 or 5 angle valve job (don't remember)
milled 30 thousandths
Ferrera (sp?) stainless steel valves (2.02 intake 1.60 exhaust I believe) (never ran)
Flowed well (don't have the flow sheet in the garage anymore) but made over 450 RWHP matched with a Magic Stick 3 cam before I had Chris clean up the heads.
These heads have NOT been installed since Chris did the valve job/cleaned them up after the original port job. Was going to build a motor for an ls1 fox but life happens and I haven't touched anything in the garage in years. Just looking to pass them on to someone who can really use them. They will make great power bolted onto an ls1 motor.
Since I do not have the flow sheet and don't want to go thru the hassle I will take $600 bucks for the set of heads(springs/retainers were $200 at the time I believe). Email me nbh4112@yahoo.com. If you shoot me a PM I may not respond for quite awhile(email will get to me quicker)
They are wrapped in plastic in the garage at my mom's house so no pics right now. If these heads do not perform correctly I will buy them back and refund your purchase price. Willing to meet anywhere pretty much in DFW so you can inspect the heads in person if you would like.
