I got a stock bottom end 5.7 ls1 out of my 2001 Pontiac Trans Am. Its all still complete and ready to be dropped in and fired up with everything except an intake. The bottom half of the motor has 54,xxx miles on it and still kicking hard when i pulled it out. It has 243's (ls6 heads) with an ms3 cam at .605 lift. The heads are assembled with double beehive valve springs good to .650 lift and all new titanium retainers. The heads are worked a little with a minor port and valve job done when assembled. Also has new pushrods, ls6 ported oil pump, Cadillac CTSV racing lifters, and ARP head studs. I had no problem with the motor the reason for pulling out and selling is just simply because i wanna go faster and i wanted to be able to sell this motor complete. The only negative with the motor is the bolt holes on the back of the block for the transmission, a few have been stripped out so before installing they just need to be drilled and re-threaded.
