Default FS/FT:2002 Honda Insight Hybrid 72mpg "The Ultimate Beater"

Well the beast is up forsale.Had big plans to do a LS1 swap in her,but gotta finish the Mustang first
The car has been nothing but good to me and the best tank yet netted 72.6 miles to the gallon.Ive seen on the forums people getting 100+ mpg but I believe that is only possible with the 5 speeds. However On the average It knocks down 61mpg combined. The only mod is a HD Radio/Cd player

Price:$3,400
Miles:177,235

Okay I am udpating this thread due to some issues that have came up with the car. There is a noise from the transmission area and the only code in the computer is P1890 "Transmission shift control" I have attached a video to show a few members interested in the car just to save them from driving all the way out to get an idea of whats going on.The vehicle runs and drives fine but at times it will not accelerate above 20-25ish mph.Leading me to believe its something stupid but could very well be a transmission going out completely. The way I look at it is I can sell it as-is,Part it out or do a K20 swap as others have

Honda says it needs a new battery.Transmission shop says it needs a rebuild. It still runs and drives so I dont know who to believe.Could be something stupid or could be a $2,800 battery.Battery says its fully charged and the car still drives so im left clueless

Yeah the transmission shop disconnected the battery to try and get a better diagnosis of the transmission without the assist trying to kick in but i will tell you the 3 cyl is an absolute turd without the hybrid motor. As for the new price.Shoot your offer.

I can't tell you what fixed or should I say which of the 3 things fixed it, but we did the filter that feeds the valve body, the filter in the trans case and cleaned the **** out of every passage we could find. Then replaced all o-rings and gaskets and filled her with new fluid.
