Default 1996 4.8 s10 swap project

This is a truck that was started but not finished. It doesn't have any interest for me to finish. Engine is in, the Trans is in the garage, has swap headers, computer and a harness that is already prepped for conversion.

Engine is a stock 4.8 liter, gen III. Trans is a factory 4L60 with converter.

1500$ for everything.

What oil pan? I'm looking for something just like this. Do you have the grille and lights?

Yup, all that is in the bed of the truck. Has a truck pan since I had no plan to lower. Has plenty if ground clearance as is.

I say, it is a heck of a jump start for the price.

Is it a DBC or DBW setup? Also what headers and what kind of harness? Did you build it or buy it? I may have time to pick it up Sunday.

It is a drive by cable setup. The headers and mounts were 360$ off eBay, I think car shop?

Truck harness that my buddy prepped. He has done several of them.

If I have it Sunday I can let you know. Between you and about 3 others, I am just waiting on someone to bring a trailer and some cash.

Is the harness ready to plug and play? Does it have the right drive shaft, radiator etc?? I assume it just needs to be put together and all the pieces are there....?

The harness is prepped to install into whatever. The drive shaft is a stock piece, I never got it together to see what needed to be done, but I am assuming it will need 50$ to shorten it once you have measurements. I was going to use the stock radiator.

It lacks being out together and the nickle and dime parts such as belts, hoses, new plugs, ect ect.
