Default possible 2000 firehawk part out gauging interest

So I wrecked my Firehawk and the insurance company totaled it. I am torn between parting itout and fixing it considering the damage wasn't that bad. The hood headlights and front bumper are busted but the rest of the car is fine. I drove it home from the body shop. It is build #473 and has lots of parts. The short block has 181k and the heads cam etc have around 30k. If anyone is interested or needs parts I'm seriously thinking about tearing it down. Thanks!!

If it has any structure damage I'd say part it. Depending on how insurance paid out on it you can buy another car with less miles quite easily.

The mileage and how clean the interior is will determine how part outable the car is. You'll easily sell most things parting it and can make 2-3K in parts probably especially if it's a stick.

If it has no structure damage and you decide to fix it pm I have some front end parts.

There is no structure damage except the front bumper support. The driver seat has wear but the car isn't in bad shape at all. I could fix it and it is a 6speed with a good transmission.

I need a set of Firehawk chrome wheels. A careless Honda hit me in the back axle and spun me over a 6" curb. I'm currently in limbo fighting her insurance for the full amount because they say I'm 20% at fault which is total BS. Three months without our car now.

Will do yeah I already have a few other interest in parts so as of now I'm leaning towards it. The problem is I have limited time to pull stuff off of it. Tail lights are easy and not time consuming, transmissions and engine will take a while.

It has the normal trans am spoiler. I may just sell the car as is to someone so no parts are coming off yet. The car still drives and the only damage from the accident is in the picture. Here is a short list of mods on the car.

Stock short block with crane Z cam 228/232 .600/.600 112+5
7.400 hardened pushrods TSP, LS-7 lifters, patriot gold dual valve springs
Stock 241 heads 4 angle valve job.
LS6 intake, racetronix 42lb injectors, comp adjustable timing chain, TSP ported LS6 oil pump
Under drive pulley, smooth air bellow, SLP mass air, lid, Ny-Trex triple threat wet kit pilled for 150
Pro 5.0 shifter, pace setter long tubes, strut tower brace, sub frames, LCA's, non adj pan hard bar, Norma cat back with offroad Y

I drove the car home from the body shop and before the accident it was my daily driver. If nobody buys the car as is I will begin tearing it down and list all the parts. Anyone who has already sent me a PM about parts will get first opportunity at them.

Good Shannon. Yeah it sucks but on the bright side I'm getting a 2010-11 SS very soon possibly tomorrow. Been busy flying and working on jets how about you?

I'm well. Been tinkering with firearms more than cars since I sold the SS, but recently got the mod bug again so the V is about to get faster.

I always check this thread from work where pictures are blocked.

What color is it and how much are you thinking about asking for the car? I have a Pewter 2000 Firehawk.
