FS - ls1/t56 complete pullout - hear it running in car first - 86k miles
I bought a car to make a drag car out of so I'm selling the motor/transmission out of it. I already have another drag car so most everything will be sold off this car
The car is a 1998 z28
Complete ls1/t56 combo with accessories, intake, oilpan, clutch, slave, master, shifter, wiring harness, etc etc
Clutch was recently changed to an ls7 with aluminum flywheel
all has 86k original miles, great oil pressure, strong engine, shifts smooth, everything is good to go.
Still in car so you can hear it run, drive it, shift it, etc
Will probably stay in car until someone buys.
Asking $4k obo
If I'm out of line let me know, I tried to research a little and feel like it's fair with all accessories, clutch, wiring, etc
We can even work out a deal for k-member/suspension and pedals etc.
Selling a bunch of parts off this car that I wont use
I'm keeping the dash and carpet (maybe), and obviously the body panels and that's about it.
located in Buda, about 5 miles south of Austin

I think 4k may be a little high. You can find complete operable 98 fbodys for around $4k these days. One of my co-workers just bought a complete LS1/4L60 with harness for $2500. Not bashing at all, just trying to help you get closer on your price. GLWS

Its worth more separate. T56 will bring ya 15-1700 with clutch, shifter and slave. LS1s have become less desirable since rectangle port motors are getting cheap. That LS1 is worth more separated if you sell intake, harness, accessories, etc. As to the previous post. You can easily get a complete good running auto car in the 3k range and even 6 speeds have taken a dump.

I know Calvin very well and I also know the story on this car and its pretty fucked up what you're trying to do here.
Just so everyone knows the car actually has 220k miles, not 86k. He bought the car from a good friend of mine so thats how I got all this info. My buddy bought the car thinking it had 78k but as it turns out the odo was simply replaced with a lower mile unit.
Tyler here is the one that uncovered all of this with his carfax account and now he is trying to pass the ******* forward. Thanks for reminding me why I don't trust people!

Yep, the nbm car with einki's or whatever. And yes, he had a very hard time selling it.
Mr. Tyler here ran the carfax and found out it had 220k. He bought the car for $4800 knowing the real mileage. Now we see this.
Also, the synchros are going out in the trans (scratches when cold) which he is trying to sell as shifting smooth. Might be down on compression as well.
