Need a new engine for a friends silverado, let me know if you have a 07-10 or so 5.3 for sale. thanks ahead of time fellas.

I have 5.3L LMG Longblock out of my 2009 Tahoe PPV w/68k miles that I am getting ready to swap out soon for a 6.2L. Interested?

I'll take $1,000 for the long block minus oil pan, valve covers, and front cover. Basically, the block with rotating assembly, oil pump, timing chain, cam, heads, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, valley cover, rear cover, and flexplate.

That's an LY5. Basically a non-flex-fuel 5.3L. Mine will work fine in his truck, as long as it's not a VVT truck. Otherwise, he'd just need a tune.

I'll see what he says, he probably won't want to have to tune anything. I thought he could just run the old intake and it would be the same?

I mean, that's only if his truck is VVT. What year is his?
But honestly, im just going off from the info ive found online. Not 100% sure, sorry. I think the VVT motors started in 2010 trucks.
