You've probably seen them on my car, but in case you're new or don't know me/my car, here they are.
FAQ:
$2000 or best offer for all four wheels WITH tires and lugs.
These wheels are $3400 new. The tires are listed on Discount Tire's web site for around $1000 new locally. Given the condition of the wheels and tires, I feel this is a fair price.
Pics in the next post.
FAQ:
- These are Fikse FM5's. They are a three-piece forged aluminum wheel with stepped lips and no visible rivets.
- All four are 17x9.5"
- This means they are NOT 17x9.5"/17x11"
- The centers are anodized black. The outer hoops are polished
- The tires are BFG KDW. 275/40/17. I bought them last year and I'd guess they have MAYBE 2,000 miles on them. I bought them at Discount Tire and have all the paperwork for them.
- I would prefer not to separate the rims and tires, but will if a buyer is interested in just the tires or just the wheels.
- I would prefer a local sale, but if someone outside Houston wants to come get them or arrange to pay for shipping, I'll work with you.
- I am not the original owner of the wheels.
- They are not in perfect condition. There are some small nicks in the center sections that need some touching-up and the hoops can stand some polishing by someone equipped to do so. I talked to Fikse when I bought them and the guy told me they can re-anodize the centers for $200 per wheel. Or you can clean and sand them, then get them powdercoated.
- There is no curb rash on any of them.
- One of the wheels has been damaged and repaired. I don't know the details, as it was done by the previous owner. The wheel in question holds air and balances fine. I have included a close-up shot of the wheel in question.
- I'm not interested in trading for other wheels, but if you have some parts you think I might be interested in, I'll listen.
- I'm selling them because Tony said they looked silly on my car.
- Honestly, I'm selling them because I hoped the "black centers with a blue car" look would grow on me, but it hasn't. I have replaced them with the wheels you can see in my sig.
- The lugnuts (included) are Gorilla lugs. They are black chrome, acorn bulge, closed end, 12mmx1.5. Locks (one per wheel) are also black chrome. Key is included. I purchased them from Thunder Racing.
- I'm a reasonable person and I'm easy to get along with. Please don't try to lowball me on price.

Each of them say it, it's a matter of lighting. 6th picture pointing at 4o'clock you can almost make it out. Looks normal to me.
BTW, Chup. . .any chance I could give you either my 1st born or a left nut?

good luck with the sale, price is a bit high though imo
by the way, how do the new wheels feel on the road, in comparison to the fikse wheels, considering the fikse are so light?
