Anyone have a stall converter preferably 2800-3200 stall for a 2004r that they wanna sell?
Or know of a shop that would have it in stock?

Yeah I was having a little fun on the beltway last night and kinda blew the trans but I have a spare one just need a converter thats not full of metal shavings

 

Let me go home tonight and see if I have the spare stall that I was give when I bought the TTA. I'll tell you tomorrow.

Just making a 03 Cobra owner a believer on how quick a turbo 3.8 is.
We had 3 good runs I put about 10 cars on him everytime
Then I turned on the alky injection and never saw him again

I don't think he could drive the car or are they really that slow?


but then when I exited and stopped at the light I could hear the trans grinding the rear planetaries exploded

It was a silver Cobra on weld prostars

 

You must have modded the $hit out of that thing? Call Circle D in the morning just in case I can't find where my wife put the converter, Chris puts up some converters real fast. Know where I can get a Terry Houston down-pipe around here? I dont want to go out of town.

 

Yeah it has a few mods but runs 13's

I think Conley's Performance in Humble has the Terry Houston down-pipes in stock

 

I will burn my car and take Metro before I ever take my car in or around CONley's performance. Don't ask, it's a long story.
If I do find this critter are you able to drive something on the North side of town to pick this up? (remember, I have to find this thing first).

The last time I had the conversation with the previous owner (I am 3rd), this was 10 years ago and I have lost lots of brain cells since, he told me something like below 2800 and more than 2200. Don't quote me, I have had a lot of things happen to me since that have jolted my memory.

 

Sounds good any idea on if its been ran before?

 

It was on the car but I can't remember if he told me if it's the original converter or they put the original back on and took the aftermarket out.

 

I have a pro torque 27 spline ls1 200-4r torque converter in stock!
