I heard the accident from in front of the restaurant... and was worried cause the group had just left to head out to Seally... so I walked over. Not what I wanted to find.
I'm VERY glad it was a small car that hit him. Any truck/suv would've come over the hood.
He was stopped at the light next to the pewter Camaro on chrome wheels. In the second picture, the camaro is the car directly behind the prelude. The black prelude hit him head on. He was pushed back into the white Pontiac Grand Am, which was pushed back into the minivan... which was pushed back into a guy on a motorcyle. The motorcycle left a bad mark on the minivan... but I don't think he got hit hard enough to drop it. Had to have been more than a tap though. He's lucky he was so far back in line.
At least 4 people got ambulance rides.
2girls in the prelude were the worst... went straight to backboards. DJ's head was being wrapped up... blood everywhere... but he was functioning. Some lady further back in line (no blood), was walked over to the curb, and a paramedic was holding her head upright waiting on a stretcher.

Damn got a call while we were out at the track, but couldn't get word if DJ was ok? Glad to see he walked away with minor injuries. Like everyone else said DJ the Z can be replace, as I'm sure it will be replace with something bigger and better. Get well soon brotha.

If that's the case David it wasn't an idiot driver. I had an old boss that got hit head on b/c the old man had a heart attack and died. Certain things can't be controlled.

I'm a sore SOB...!! Thanks for all the kind words and all the phone calls. Left Herman Hospital last night around 8:30. Everything okay on this end. Just a nice gash in the noggin' that sliced an artery, sore ankles, wrists and left shoulder. Car has seen better days thats for sure. I'll be back you can guarantee it...!!
