but if anything I learned that the **** isn't worth it any more... and that whole even happened on my LAST DAY OF CLASS... turned in my final project forever... way to ruin my day.

Well that's Waco for you. Those dudes are probably just hating on your bc of your car. Big props to you for driving off and reporting that. I would chill out around that area for a while bc if that dude goes to jail, he or his homeboys may be looking for you. Just keep being smart about the situation, no matter how hard it may be to not go and whoop some ***!!
Then again, back in 1950, it was most likely going to be a fair fight... get out of the car and be able to square off without getting blindsided or hit inside the car....
Goes to show you need to be ready for anything. Have a contingency in place always.

LOL....that would have been funny, and that does seem like a good excuse....but then again, in a situation like that, one tends to not think about ok how do i get this guy back without getting in legal trouble.

When I wasn't 21, I always carried a knife on me. I never wanted to use it, cause things would get really messy, but in today's world its always good to have something (taser, pepper spray, knife) on you.
Ahhh...young male drama. I'm just glad I was never sued for punching someone in the head. Nowadays lawsuit is the first thing anyone thinks of, pretty sad.

Dont get me wrong, Im ex military and carry a gun but I would probably only pull it out as a last defense. Lawsuits are a b!tch.....
But just keep checking in with the officer that the case gets sent too and the guy should get a decent sentence and fines...
a punch in the face to me would be like a invitation.

its in my story in the original post.... I didn't know this guys name until last tonight... I believe the other guy was the owner of the house in his 40's that lived there and he was just trying to make sure it didn't get out of hand (obviously it did, but he didn't come near my car or threaten me)
it woulda been nice to have spray or something I would have gotten out of the car then but I had no idea I was getting into this situation... I figured at most someone would be **** talking

couldnt have said it better tony!! i would have honestly fought back and then filed a complaint and sued for damages to the car!! espeically if they hit you first, and are trying to pull you out your car. thats basically assault. so yeah u have the right to defend yourself.

My dad always had a bull whip under his seat when he was a kid cause he lived in the country and like 5 guys tried to get out and jump him so he gave one a nice deep cut with the whip. Ever since he told me that i have been wanting to buy a nice whip just incase. But i think i will buy some pepper spray cause that seems like an awesome defense in a case like this.

If it were me he would have been looking at my .40 cal sitting in my lap as soon as he got close enough, you dont know me personally, but i am 6'3 and around 300 lbs, all that doesnt matter if somone has a weapon, i would not have just fotten out of the car ither.

As I have gotten alittle older, I have become skeptic of going anywhere that drama may lay. Not because I am scared, but its just old. Seems like every time I go out, something goes down. You need to take it upon yourself to avoid the people and situations that can breed things like this happening. Not saying its your fault you got hit by any means, but it just takes one drunk moron to ruin your life. Either they hurt you or you hurt them. I hit some drunk "bully" one time in deep ellum and nearly killed him. It was real scarey for a few days until they got the stories straight. You dont ever want to hear "attempted murder" and your name together.
When I drove my old car everyone would alwys screw around with me one guy chased me and I called the cops the chopper came and followed him home I am not even kidding. He said he was gonna beat the **** out of me and kill me after that I have a bat. The dude cut me off and I blew the horn. I am not the biggest guy but I can hold my own for my size. If I was in you situation though I would have called a few friends maybe 3 or 4 others and then had them out numbered and tell the guy that wanted to fight me and you one on one your guy jumps in my guys get in.

Funny how the world works like that. The same kind of thing happened to me. Personally i think it is a bitch thing to call the cops on someone. But you fight, and kick the guys *** and then there is the chance that he will call the cops on you. Lose, lose situation, but i would never let someone punch me in the face and get away with it. btw assault can be if you spit on someone, push them, etc. Granted it's simple assault which is only a class c misdemeanor, which is nothing more than a traffic ticket. That is if his boy doesnt say something other than what happened, in which case it will probably get thrown out. You would have to prove assault causing bodily injury to get a class a misdemeanor, which is not likely.

I do wish it was like the ol days. I rem when guys would talk **** to me in school and we would get off the bus and go to the rail road tracks and fight. Sometimes I would get my *** whipped and sometime I would walk away a winner. I fought alot of the same guys quite a few times. Still friends with those guys today
Now thats ol days. 
If someone was trying to rip me out of my car/carjack me I would... Reach into my driver side door pocket pull out my .45 fire till the mag was empty... Reload then administer first aide to the failed carjacker while dialing 911. I doubt you will have to worry about his carjacking buddy at this point because after seeing his friend dropped with 13rnds from a .45 he will reconsider. May sound harsh but if someone decides to break into my home or car while I'm in it, it will be defended with deadly force. I mean if some *** hole was kicking in the door to my house because he wanted to drag me out I would shoot to kill his ***, then first aide while dialing 911. Same thing as the car my friend.
