Unhappy My mom died tonight at 12:22 AM in a motorcycle accident.

I just got home from Parkland..... my wife is taking care of our foster puppies.... I needed something to take my mind off of what happened this evening.

I am so freaking pissed at my mom's husband for not making her wear a helmet on his harley.... she died tonight from trauma to the brain and I want to kill him... not that I will but I feel it is his fault.

How long does this grieving process take. This is ******* killing me! Have yall experienced this? What is next??

I can't sleep and reading has helped me stop crying for a few minutes. My mom was only 45 and a grandmother of 3 kids.

The only family I have left is my wife and kids and 2 brothers. My mom worked at the same company as me and I dont think I can talk to my friends from work w/o breaking down.....................

all I can say is..... please, if you love your family WEAR a GOD DAMN helmet and make them wear one!

Sorry for your loss. I feel your pain, lost my mother back in December, and it's been hard ever since. Hang in there, things will get better, but it's never the same. Never forget that she is in a better place though. Good luck, and hang in there.

Sorry to hear.

Same thing could have happened to me awhile back and I don't and wouldn't have blamed anybody but myself for not wearing a helmet...that's a risk people take.

Sorry for your loss man, but you can not blame her husband. All the hate in the world won't bring her back, I can assure you, but it will make you feel worse. He lost someone he loved as well.

I hope you pull through soon.

Sorry to hear that Mike.
I wouldn't blame her husband about the helmet. She was an adult and made her own choice. Hell, anytime you get on a bike you're taking a risk.

I am very sorry for your loss Mike. We experienced a passing with Sean's dad (very unexpected) 2 years ago and I can tell you it will take time for you to feel better. I know you want it go to away so things can be back to normal but it's best to let the grieving process ride its course. I would not even worry about going back to work for a week or so. Take some family-leave or vacation time to keep yourself in some sort of balance. If Sean and I can do anything, please let us know.

Holly **** man, I am sorry to hear that.

All I can say is don't avoid your grieving or it will take longer.
Get it all out as many times as you need to and talk to those closest to you!
Friends, Family and a few beers here and there will help.

I am very sorry for your loss. Been a hell of a year for quite a few people that I know of.
That is probably one of the hardest losses to take in.
You and yours are in my prayers and like I said man. Don't rush things.
Take each day, one day at a time man!

Take it easy, don't blame her husband. Sometimes life is just hard and it is easy to point a finger. I am sure he blames himself and that is hard enough. If not that is a different story.

Good luck man.
