That's clear as mud! If we all three have one loss though, we'd all have identical over-all and conference records. So??? Hmm.

I was hoping for a Texas and Bama NT game. Texas is by far my number 1 team amd Bama is number 2 since I was born there. They do need to rework the BCS every year several great teams play in **** bowls while there are several 2 or 3 loss teams playing on New Years Day. Both teams in the NC game last year had 2 losses.

Bama will be ranked #1 in the BCS and Texas will still be in the top ten. IMO Tech should be ranked #2 ahead of Penn St. The Red Raiders would absolutely crush PSU if they played them.

The way I read that, if we all have one loss, they essentially do strength of schedule. i.e. Look at the records of the conference teams we beat, and whoever had the toughest route wins. But that requires math, and I'm too upset to do math right now. So, **** that noise.

One way I've also heard is that the team with the highest BCS ranking will go to the conference title game if there is a tie.

Hell, I think the Tech team that showed up tonight would beat anyone. I think they deserve to be in the title game if they win out, but a lot of pollsters are idiots and have a mentality of "If they were ranked ahead last week and didn't lose, they shouldn't drop."

God, I wish Div I (of FBS...FDS... whatever the hell they're calling it this year) had a playoff.

I don't think we are ready for #1 spot by any means. We played TERRIBLE the 2nd half! I think #2-4 is where we should be now.

If Tech wins out, I want them to be #2. It's good for the conference. Selfishly, I'd like to know that the team that beat us is worthy of a national championship shot.

As of last week, PSU was at number 54 for SOS, OU was at 11, and Bama was at 62. TTU was at 74 . Can Tech end up in the big game? Yes. Will they get it, highly doubtful.
