Official Thread For Lonestar Muscle Meets and Events here!!

I need to make some things clear.
I have got many messages about this topic, in regards to my now deleted thread about the recent LS/M car meet in Ft Worth. This morning I got a phone call from Zach with LS/M who wanted to discuss the issues, go over things, and was very up front and polite.
LS/M is a car club, made specifically for domestics. Just like any club, the club has requirements. And just like any club meeting, it makes sense that the people showing up to the club meeting would be a member (or at least a potential member) of the club. Just like someone from the swim club would not be in place at a chess club meeting, import owners would be out of place at a LS/M meeting. Not to say that they "hate" imports, they dont, they hate ricers, which as you know can be anyone that acts like an idiot in their car.
Their intention behind asking import owners to leave was not to spread hate of some kind, it was just to create a club meeting environment, where the people and cars at the meet all had to do with the club. You have to respect that.
Additionally, the members of LS/M got specific permission from the owner of the restaurant and parking lot to be there, and made the police aware of the event. And they certainly were not trying to raid anyone else's meet, they just wanted to hang out and be left alone.
The report I made before did not tell the whole story, and was misleading. You would be inclined to think that LS/M was a trouble makers group but this is not the case at all. LS/M is as against trouble makers as we are here at RKC. Like us, they want a clean, safe car meet for their members. Their members however, all happen to be domestic.
Zach was very informed about car meets and how to run them, and called me personally to make sure there was an understanding of everything, and to remind me just how read my posts actually are. My original thread had spread around the net, and the fear is now that the meet will be used as an example by import owners to cause trouble. So, inadvertently, I might have single-handily caused (or at least contributed to) this short-lived meet being moved to another, more private location.
I am sorry for that, that was not my intention.
LS/M was acting within the realms of the law, within their given permission, to maintain their own private car-club meeting. They don't want trouble with any owner, or any group of people. They have worked hard with sponsors for their club, and to recruit new members, and in a short time have grown to nearly 100.
I dont want to hear word of a single RKC member going to any of these events to cause any sort of trouble, I dont care if you have a cobra or a civic. If you own an import, take a night off and let these guys do thier thing, and if you own a domestic, dont you go there with any other intention than just to hang out and meet some cool new people. Zach will let me know if a RKC member causes a problem at one of their meets, and I will take action against your account if this is confirmed, not that I expect any of you guys to do it.
Ft Worth is a very different car enviroment than Dallas, and different precautions are taken to ensure the safety of everyone involved at the meets. I didnt see it at first, but the LS/M guys dont want trouble, they just want whats best for their members.
Thanks for reading

back to the purpose of this sticky...had a great time at the cruise. Lunch was good too. My mom dad wife and bro all said to have a great time as well. Also thanks for being hospitable to the g8board member that I invited out. He was very impressed with our group.
See you dudes next time!
