UPDATE
Hey guys due to the poor turnout expected for the Wings meet we cancelled it. The meet is to far to attend for the members and the manager was expecting 30 cars again.
So with that being said. Thursdays and Tuesdays are going to be voted on this week and the locations have to be with in " Most " of the memberships area.
Some locations have been mentioned,
No Frills Grill - Arlington??
Humperdinks - Arlington ??
Buffalo Wild Wings - Burleson
Georges Muffler and Performance - Ft worth
If there are any more please let me know. I will write all this stuff down to be voted on.
With us moving this time make sure your vote counts because this will be the last time we move for this season.
Other topics to discuss,
Charity Racing League
LSM Race car roller ( Should be bought next week )
Tech Days!!! ( Have locations set!! )
Members who will be out for the season.
Sponsor news
I talked with Jason from TDP and Daniel from SQR and they should be in attendance. We discussed several great opportunities for the club and them to get involved.
The Lonestar Muscle Race Car will have most of these guys hands in the work.
Simple Quick Racing - Engine, Tuning
Chase at Chase auto's will be working on the Th400
Texas Drivetrain Performance - Rear end rebuild
Fortress Performance - Suspension
Custom Auto Paint ( Nick ) - Paint
Georges Muffler and Performance - Exhaust
Thats how I see it being done. Also most of this will be in tech days for some of the work so that we can get some good knowledge out of the project. I feel the members will appreciate the car more if they got their hands dirty with it.
Thanks again for your time.

I will not be at the meet tomorrow night, however I do have a suggestion...do what you want...I think that MONTHLY MEET would be better than weekly and bi-weekly SPONSORED meets. It is too hard (for me anyways) to make every meet when they come up multiple times per week. I personally have projects at home (my truck for one) that I need to get done as well as husband duties. Monthly meets historically get better attendance than multi-week meets. I had a blast going to eat at BW&R last week as well as the Fudds meet and the cruise on Saturday. However, there is no way I could do that every week. I can do once a month...depending upon location...much more consistently. Also, weekly parking lot meets are just asking to get ricers, and everything else you dont want around, to start showing up. This is all based off of things I have personally seen at things in the past.
That all being said, there is nothing that keeps a group of us (all of us) from getting together and hanging out at a Buffalo Wild Wings or something in the middle of the week just to shoot the bull and talk cars, sports, GM bail out (oops, repayable loan), etc. I just think that there is a chance of greater turnout and less of a chance of burnout having a monthly meet as opposed to a weekly or multi-weekly meet.
Just my two cents...do with it as you please.

Chad, if you can only make one meet a month then do so. Nobody is making you do anything more then that. Due to the volume of people in the club we can not only do one meet a month.
Sit out and chill, build that truck and dont worry about making a ton of meets. Come when you can and when you do come you will have the club welcoming you everytime.
Without having multiple days, future membership would be effected. Basically because nobody works a 9-5 m-f. This means if we had a meet on saturday we could lose a ton of membership because people work on Saturday.
That is just one of the reasons why we can not have just one meet a month. That is also to mention that to keep a club motivated you need to have choices for its members.
I plan to keep this club as active as physically possible so that we have many opportunities for other members to be active as well.
I need to make this clear to everyone, do not feel like you have to come to every meet. Come to the ones you like and that work for your schedule. The only people that pretty much need to be there is Shannon and I. And we normally split it up pretty well so that we can have a break too.
E.G ( Cruise )
Shannon is the other staff member and he has as much say as I ever have had. I speak with him on a level basis and I take his opinion very seriously.
If you have any issues and you cant get a hold of me, call Shannon.
thanks guys,
Ryan
Last Note: We are a rapidly growing club. I expect some new guys to be there Thursday. This week we have had several ( 10-15 ) people ask me about membership. What draws them to us is how active we are and how we have a good time. Keep up the great work guys and as always I appreciate every minute of your time and your suggestions.
