Well good news is Thursday looks to be a good success. Its getting a good amount of chatter and it should be a 40-50 car meet. Seems as though the imports are content at costco.

And thats fine with me.

The LSM race car is still in full effect. I have spoken with my better half and worked out a timeline on when everything is going to happen. The car will be ready by spring.

I am working out the timeline that I would like to see the car get done. The winter time is no time to have tech meets. I would like to talk with Zach about having a good amount of the tech time at his shop.

If the members are not interested in taking part then I will let the sponsors do the work no problem. We will see how much interest is sparked off of doing some tech days on the LSM car.

I also am working on acquiring some property solely for LSM. This is going to be somewhere where we can control the flux of the meet and its occupants.
Due to also dealing with Pinks on when they are coming back in and all that my schedule is crazy right now.

Its going to be slow for the winter because, well its the winter. Once the weather warms up a notch the nice changes that have already been discussed at several meets will take effect.

 

I'm sure there are PLENTY of people in LSM that are willing to take part in building this car, including me. From the sounds of it, it should be damn quick.

 

Additionally, most of our members project cars will be ready too. Next season will be a trailor fest!

well I'm down to do a tech day with the LSM car as much as I can when I'm down there and if I'm not mistakin I should be down this weekend not quite sure but I'll let y'all know and I have made up my mind bout my next built it won't be ready for a real good while but it's gonna consist on a 03-06 single cab chevy with a lsx 427 packin a whloe lotta nitrous ... Posibly gutted and shootin for the 9s

yeah yeah, i know i've been rather MIA the last few months. after i did my 12-bolt install on the hawk, and the head gaskets on the GTA (which was complications beyond belief), i was working on the cars non stop for 3 months and de-motivated myself from cruising around. i just needed to take a step back for a bit... which is around the time when these new meets starting getting their momentum.

but now that i started reading this thread, i'll plan on making it out this thursday.
