I've got a little news. I dropped my wife off to get her hair chopped and went over to SQR just to kill some time instead of setting in a salon......
Lo and behold my car had been dynoed.
New numbers are 481 hp and 464 ft/lb. That's up 26 hp and ~30 lb/ft. Its finally putting numbers down like a 408 should instead of a head/cam LS1. So far it's idling well even @ 800 RPM ( you can actually hear the lope now) and doesn't smell like unburnt fuel anymore. I did kill it when backing out because the new clutch releases near the floor and it grabs like mad. It'll take a little getting used to. Gotta give props to TDP for their clutches, thanks to Josh for the deal on it, and a BIG thanks to SQR for fixing someone else's mess and giving the car some more juevos.

My last trans lasted thru 2 motors, and about 20k miles with 200 shot sprayin thru the shifts. Never slipped, just exploded the stock output shaft. Yours already has 5 pinion planets, hardened input and output shafts, so it shouldnt be that expensive to get it to hold.

Yup, no table games at the place I was at, only slots. I saw a guy in there betting at a 5 dollor a pull game and he was tripling his bets, $15 bucks a pull. He put about a grand in it and ended up winning $8k that day. It's fun as hell that's for sure.
