I might take a job as a salesman with Mcdavid Honda soon. I've been in commissioned sales for a couple of years, so I know how to sell. The thing is, when I check out reviews for Mcdavid honda, I see a LOT of bad ones where customers are saying that the dealership tried screwing them over, bait & switch, ect. I'm trying to get AWAY from that. Have any of you had any experience with the particular dealership? Also, is the money ok in our current economic situation?

EDIT: Whoops. Obviously meant McDavid Honda in the title.

i can tell you most people in service like their job and their manager (where i and cabesas work) but as far as sales they are usually getting new salesman but there are a few who have stuck around.

Well I suggest you get out of the sales business. Are you trying to make a living or are you trying to run a charity?

If they bought it, it's not too high.

I think this guy is just wanting to work for a respectable company. If management allows it's salesmen to screw the customers, do you believe for a second that same management will think twice about screwing over their employees?

There's nothing wrong with a salesman being fair.

The guy is just asking for some honest opinions. Why doesn't everyone that works there that has posted in the thread give some honest, comprehendable feedback?

I would not want to be selling cars right now in this market. We just bought a Tahoe two weeks ago and 1 out of every 10 people were approved for credit that came in the door. Crazy **** happening. If you dont have anything over a 700 score then your out of luck, (pretty much)
