Thats because you didn't repond until 6:12pm. I gave you until 6:00pm. That would be like placing a bet with someone after a game has already started. Everyone knows that the BCS results were going to be released between 6:00-6:30pm. It took all of the fun out of making the bet.

wow, I hope you are being extremely sarcastic. But I doubt it.

If you haven't seen the poll yet it doesn't matter.

It was a typo; he left out a zero. Texas leads OU by .0084

I doubt that, seeing as he picked OU at the beginning of the season (and during preseason) to be playing in the NC.

Mark was hating on Texas big time early this season also.

7420 really spouts off with some BS, he might of watched football for the past 30 years but he hasn't watched it closely at all these last 3-4

In addition, if Texas would have taken care of their business againsts Tech, we would all not be having this discussion. Kinda reminds me of 2006. The other flaw in their argument is the head-to-head argument. If that were a valid argument, then since Tech won head to head against Texas then TECH should be ranked higher in the BCS. What's logical for one team should be logical for the other....

Bottom line is voters will vote for whoever they think will matchup best with the SEC winner, whether they won head-to-head or not.

You're right. Texas should have beat Tech. Same can be said of OU. If they had beaten Texas when they had their chance there wouldn't be an argument either, right? Bottom line is, a case can be made for both UT and OU and both sides have their valid points. At this point all it is is a bunch of opinions and that's it.

Until there's a playoff this is the kind of crap that we have to deal with. However, it's not like the season is over. Lets let the rest of the games play out and then see where we're at. What's the point of arguing over something when the regular season isn't even complete?

I would love to see OU go play for the NC, however, I would take Texas in lieu of an OU appearance. I wanna see the big 12 represent regardless!

I still think UT/OU would be an intriguing matchup in the NC. Florida has FSU @FSU this weekend which they are more or less rivals. If something funny happened and FSU upset Florida, then Florida beat Alabama, OU/UT would rise to the top. USC not having a conference title game and not that strong of a conference would probably not jump OU or Texas. I think it would be a historic event and a fun game to watch (and would settle once and for all this argument between OU and Ut fans)

1 thing that seems to be left out among all you OU fans, yes you beat up on Tech at "HOME" and UT "LOST" to Tech in Lubbock. It has been proven that Lubbock is one of the toughest places to play and win, Texas lost there this year and OU lost there last year. So don't dismiss the fact that Texas lost in a very tough place and Tech lost in a very tough place in Norman. Tech is outstanding and almost unbeatable at home and we gave it a hell of a try just coming up short by 1 dropped int. Doesn't matter we still lost and the voters also think that getting beat on the road in a hostile enviroment is worth some type of points.

You know what would suck would be UT and OU both losing this week. Not probable but possible. The Jets beat the Titans on Sunday so anything is possible.

Good point. Also, If OU beats OSU handily on the road, that also help OU's cause more than UT beating A&M at home. But like mmiller says, we might as well quit wasting time arguing about it, just wait and watch...

IF strength of schedule is no longer a part of the equations here, why the hell is home/visitor being brought up? Because you're a Texas fan trying to say your last second loss to TT was less hurtful than the tromping TT took at Norman? Or the last 1/4 lead taken by Texas was more impressive in Dallas?

Fact: UT-OU, OU led the MAJORITY of the game. UT pulled it off Nice game
Fact: TT-UT, UT led the MAJORITY of the game. TT pulled it off Lucky break
Fact: OU-TT, OU DOMINATED the WHOLE game, no disputing it. of the 3, OU is shown to be stronger, location irrelavant, the teams showed up and played.

Probably for the same reason you're still bringing up margin of victory when it is no longer part of the equation either.
