I know it's early but OU is putting a Texas size whooping on TTU. Tech doesn't even look like they have shown up yet, 42-7 at the half, ouch. This looks like a Sunday afternoon park style game. Many of us called for Tech to get beat tonight, but damn I was hoping for a good game. If OU continues to destroy Tech, they will jump ahead of UT in the BCS.

 

Yep, I might as well go ahead and start booking the tickets to the Fiesta Bowl.

IF/when OU wins, they would have jumped UT anyway. it's the round robin of whos winning. This just helps justify it to the UT throngs...

I knew OU was going to win but the margin is surprising I figured it would be a 10 point win. i think OU will jump us unless we hand aTm a big *** kickin and OU has trouble with OKS. Congrats OU on a great game plan, I think if we would have met TT with a week off we would of beaten them by 14 and Congrats to TT on a great year.

 

OU wins, they will jump UT no matter what. it's simple math, when ut beat ou, they jumped. when tt beat ut, they jumped. the rankings are so close, there can't be any other choice. OU started the year ranked higher and as I said earlier, it's just a round-robin of wins. OU wins, OU will be on top of the Big 12 south.

Damn, that was a beat down by OU. Wow! IMO OU will not pass Texas in the next BCS rankings. If they beat OSU they might. It'll be interesting to see the new BCS rankings when they come out on Sunday night.

 

I think it would be fun to see an OU/UT rematch in the NC game. Probably won't happen, but anything is possible! Who cares about the big 12 championship, those are starting to get boring...

 

We still have to get by that little team in Stillwater next week though. They always play us hard there...

 

It was an AWESOME game (OU can never win by too many points, I was hoping for 70). Hopefully it ends up our way, but there are wat to many possibilities.

I'm not seeing the reasoning in OU failing to pass UT in the standings. same record, OU was on top when they lost, UT was on top of TT when they lost and TT was on top of OU when they lost. Not that strength of schedule plays a part, but I did see where TT played 2 high schools, 1 votech and a catholic school for the blind/mute. . . .

 

That would be pointless as NC game is to see who is the best in the country but u play within the same conference ur not really getting that....gotta play out of conference.


I do see OU going ahead of UT cause of the straight *** raping they did today.

 

This game was horrible.. Tech looked like a damn high school football team while OU looked like NFL material

 

The sad thing is Florida has a good chance of leaping over Texas.

Florida shoud not jump UT, They played the Citadal what kinda high school team is that. It really doesn't matter where Alabama and Florida sit right now because they have to play each other in a couple weeks and the loser of that game is out. Florida is the best team in the country right now followed by I hate to say it(OU)but they have been winning big lately. If things hold up OU will jump UT by the end of next week and will be playing for the NC against Florida.

 

I couldn't believe the beatdown either, OU will not pass UT this week thats for sure. Next week, it will be close even if they beat OSU (which I think they will). Remember 2/3 of the BCS is human voting, a lot of the "experts" seem to still give the nod to UT since they beat OU on a neutral field.
