Default Pics of the Truck

Got the truck back yesterday from 4 wheel parts

Installed:
-5" magnaflow Turbo Back
-6" ProComp w/ Fox shocks
-35" M/T Baja ATZ

Also got a AFE Mega Canon but I installed that in the driveway. All I had was my camera phone so the quality isn't great.

The truck rides great with these shocks on it. Better then stock for sure. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I like it a lot man, I haven't really driven my vette since I got it.

I'm using the Smarty POD right now. I have it on a mild setting (SW#3) for now. I don't want to damage the trans any, I hear there sensitive.

I want to add a leaf in the back or something, looks a little nose high doesn't it? Not quite sure if it'll settle or not.

Looks awesome! I also have the Mega Canon. Did you remove the factory turbo silencer ring when you installed the CAI? You can remove them in the 5.9 trucks for that big whistle effect. I ordered some goodies for mine over the weekend. The big one being:

Not sure about the silencer ring, I'd assume so. When I installed the new intake there was nothing remaining from the factory one. Silicone piece went over the turbo inlet, ect.

The silencer ring is actually attached to the inlet side of the turbocharger. It's a separate job and takes a little work to get it out. This is what it looks like.

I have an 2006 Mega Cab with the 5.9 with 6inch lift .The ring makes a big difference on the noise of the turbo I have got mine off also.

Didn't know that. I have to take it back off to adjust the fitment some, I'll look at it then.

Actually its pretty loud now, I don't know if I want it louder.

Good looking truck, great choice in mods too!! Take out the ring if you want to hear more turbo, if you like it quieter then leave it. I took mine out and did the ****** whistler intake (6" all way to the elbow into the turbo) and its noticable loud even with the straight pipe. The tranny def wont like #5... mine doesn't anyway; however the extra power is NICE!! I like the way your 35s look too... I have some on mine but they look small, I'm hunting for 37s! Anymore plans for the truck??

Thanks man.

Only thing left I want are some gauges, grill, and bed liner. Then I'm done. Nothing crazy with this truck. I do worry about the trans, but I'm not going to sink money into it just yet. I don't drive my truck hard so it should be ok for a bit.
