how is that dumb? yeah, winning is winning, but when your car costs a lot more, its like you won just because you spent more money. its like a schoolyard bully bragging about beating up a smaller kid.

lets say you race someone.. your setup for nitrous.. he is setup for all motor.. you have 2k more in your car than he does in his.. you two race.. you beat him by 4 car lengths..
does he get bragging rights or do you?

your talking 75k+ cars... if you spend 15k more buying one over the other... but because you spent that money you will walk the other ones ***... i would consider that a MINIMAL margin in price difference..

granted, the price difference in percentage is closer to say an f-body vs. mustang rather than say a viper vs an f-body... but i dont think you guys are getting my argument. i'm not saying that a win isnt a win. i'm saying that when one car is clearly a better car, you can only get so much bragging rights when you simply just bought a better car.

it would be like me racing a honda.. i beat him by 500 bus lengths.. then they say yea you beat him but he is bone stock and your not.. he has 4 cylinders you have eight, yada yada yada... no i won, i was SMART and bought the better car starting out.. and then modded it.. so i have bragging rights..
