Default ZOWHAT? My latest and final mods to the C6 Vette.

I'm serious when I say this, this is my final modification to the Vette. I don't realize how much money I dump into my vehicles until I lay the numbers out. I've had the car almost 6 months now and I've already dropped $15K into it, $10K of which was in the first 3 months. The ONLY thing I may do is change the wheels if I come across a used set of iForged or CCW.

Anyhow, the latest and final mods:

GM ZO6 rear widebody kit (rear quarter panels, liners, brake ducts, etc.)
Factory Reproduction Chrome C6 ZO6 wheels (18x9.5 +57mm and 19x12 +59mm)
Nitto Invo (275/35/18 and 345/30/19)

Other mods include:

G-Force Tune
ATI D1SC Procharger
ATI Race Bypass Valve
Kooks 1 3/4" Long Tube Headers (Coated)
Kooks 3" Catted X-Pipe
Corsa Sport Exhaust
FAST 57 LB. Injectors
MSD Boost-A-Pump
Autometer Sport Comp II Boost/Vacuum and Fuel Pressure w/Dual Pod
Paint Matched Door Bezels/Handles and Rear Spoiler
Tinted Windows

580 rwhp 508 rwtq @ 8 psi

The only thing I plan on doing power wise is modifying the air intake as it's very restrictive. This should put me at the 600 rwhp mark, but quite honestly, it's hard enough keeping the power on the ground as it is.

Anyhow, let me know what you think!

Looks good. That's one of my favorite colors in the c6's. Do you have any plans to do the front quarters / bumper or are you going to keep it as is? A small drop might also make it look killer.

Needs the front fenders and hood to be at 100%, but otherwise nicely done J. You may have a forum posting problem, but I'll be damned if your cars aren't nicely done and always clean. Congrats on the success, enjoy it in good health.

Car does look really good. Only other thing I would do is drop the car a bit. It has too much of a fender gap. Otherwise the mods are very tasteful and nicely done.

Yeah, I like the rims, but I really wanted a set of iForged or CCWs. I wasn't ready to drop $3K for a set of wheels, at least not right now. That's why I said if I come across a used set, then I'll consider it.

No plans for the front fenders or fascia. NO MORE MODS! The only reason why I did the rears is because I wanted to run a wider tire in the rear.

Hood on the base C6 and ZO6 are the same by the way.

I dropped the rear as much as I could with the adjusters, but it wasn't enough. It looks like I may have to buy the lowering bolts.

Posting problem? No way. Maybe in the past, but not now. I post legit threads, with topics I need help with, but everyone always gets bent out of shape suggesting I use Google. If that's the case, do you know how many threads can be suggested for Google? I would say at least 50% of them, but since it's me posting, I get **** about it.

Don't buy the bolts, just cut the rubber off the stock bolts. Thats what I did

What a coincidence! I was thinking of cutting the rubber. Did you cut it out completely or just a portion of it? How did it affect the ride?

You cut all of it but a very thin bit. If you cut it down to the metal it will make noises when you hit bumps. It rides great, feels very stable, even at 185(TxMile).

Nice car Jeramy. You are a nut for spending $15K on mods for a 2005 C6. Hope you keep this one for a while!

Yeah I know. I don't realize how fast it adds up until I figure the numbers. I'm definitely done with the mods. I'm going to keep it for a while, then I'll demod it when I sell it because I know damn well no one is going to pay for the upgrades. I know it's not a new Vette, but I still love it and it only has 9k miles on it.

The car will be dropped tomorrow.
