You know the guy that comes up to you at a gas station, or party, or where ever, and trys to bs with you about your car, and trys to tell you about the car in his garage? The one that does 4's flat @ 460mph, and pops wheelies from an 80 roll.... and it becomes apparent that he knows nothing about cars.... Well, thats Rich.

damn well just read a couple of pages and see there is a whole bunch of hate .. we had alot of our cars go on pink all out when they came to houston .. **** one of of them made like the damn hall of fame when it cought on fire at the starting line lol that foo got the most airtime I think lol ...

Not exactly. What about that kid from Texas that brought that super nice 10 sec NA Nova and from up north they brought a 9 sec LS1 w/ a big shot of dope. They were told to each bring a 10 sec car. If Rich had any brains at all, he would have sent that sprayed car home. I felt sorry for that kid, he was being honest, and punished for it....

While I dont consider drag racing a "sport" anymore than I do NASCAR or Golf "sports", I do think he is a douchebag.
He acts like he knows what hes talking about when he has no idea, he does the "serious face" wayyyyyy too often, and generally creates stupid drama when there is no need.
Yes, I am aware he is on TV and needs to create a sense of (insert whatever sense youd like here), but the way he does it is retarded. I honestly think Ryan Seacrest could do a better job.

The whole Hollywood thing. I guess he feels he needs to over-act and try to inject drama to make the show exciting and boost ratings(?)
And yes, to the posts about Rich/the rest of the staff's ignorance about racing potentially hurting the racers. At that Pinks All Out they were announcing various silly things... like if you ran more than 2 tenths off your first pass on your second time trial pass they would say you sandbagged on one of them and you were "not running all out" and would be disqualified. I was like "stupid bitches, if I get wheelspin I can easily run 2 tenths (or more) off my initial dial. Doesn't mean I sandbagged."
