I know this is bad but was a long time ago, me and a buddy of mine used to go to dealerships and steal tailgates all the time. Living in a redneck town like greenville, as Nineball said, you could get a nice chunck of change from a redneck who punched theirs when they were drunk or something. But hell being 15 and not having a job, this was easy cash.

Most new trucks have them, mine isn't new. It is a 2006 Dodge dually, my tow vehicle. Fuggin truck is covered in mud right now, looks like total ***....yet they still stole my tailgate. Oh well, I only have to put up with suburbia for another month or so, then I'm moving to the new house.

My neighbor had the same thing happen to him. Except he heard them in the middle of the night and chased them down. Their van was full of various truck parts, mostly tailgates.

My moms mirror was stolen on her z71 recently, only the driver side. Come-to-find-out, they are like over $300 for that damn thing. Heated, power, self dimming, with the blinker deal. Happened when she went in the mall. Thoughtfully, they unplugged the wires from it instead of ripping them out lol.

My tailgate was stolen to two days ago in the morning and I also had my front door open becasue I was just about to cut the lawn. I probably just walked in for 2min and those dam ***** took it. Never saw anything
