Wasn't really suggesting westheimer in particular, just somewhere more central. Takes me an hour to get to that NS meet, which is why I've only been twice...lol. IMO it would be a much bigger turnout if the location was more centralized. Keep it on I45 just move it down like 20-25 minutes south.

I agree. The reason I have never gone because its a 40 minute drive. There are southside meets in case you wanted to go to those. Downtown isnt going to happen, and along 45 north inside the beltway aint going to happen either. Its too ghetto and too much criminal activity would occur. 59 you have to get outside the beltway before it gets to be a decent area.

Yea I like the southside meets, especially since everybody is mature. Only thing I like about the NS meets are the "spots" for a nice dig run. Oh well, just miss the good ol' miami subs days where everybody was in one big lot. I'll stick to the SS meets, thats where the fast cars are anyway..haha

I did the Westheimer meets a few years ago, it was really fun but the police were everywhere, basically chasing us from one lot to another.
I was also at the Katy Cinemark meet the day the guys in the big trucks showed up and were doing burnouts and **** and got that meet shutdown. I got a few tickets trying to leave that meet after it was broken up.
I'd suggest somewhere a bit more out in the sticks, but the downside to that is that people who live in other parts of the town will have to drive far. Tomball PD are a bunch of dicks, so stay away from their jurisdiction. The 2978/1488 section of Magnolia has some really large parking lots now and is a low-key area, might be worth a try. Either that or somewhere in Conroe.

We run 13's on Nawz. I agree man. I should have another clutch in my car within the next week or two and I will be ready to do some cruising. Right now its on jackstands. It would be nice if there was something on the east side of 45 like 1960 area. I used to like the Saturday night James Coney Island meets. Not sure if they do that anymore. I like the idea of a Saturday night meet better. Friday nights i pretty much fall asleep at 8-830, lol.

SS meets are easy to organize and I know a lot of great spots, but I don't like the posted meets cause you get everyone and that includes the idiots. So I like the meets I get by text messages cause there is usually just about 15-20 cars and everyone is fairly mature not stupid ****. I was very uninpressed the one time I went to the conns meet fine at first but it took only about an hour and then the dumb asses were doing burnouts and doughnuts etc... But the people I met and talked to were nice so it sucks.

What is really wierd is that the Conns meet attracted all kinds of dumbasses from day 1 but the 2920 location hardly ever had any kind of bullshit go on. It is amazing how much of a difference 1 mile can make.

Wel if there is only like 20 or 30 cars. I know where a place is right around the 2920 meet that we are already have permission to be at but theres only enough room for about that many cars. At that we are pushing it.
