Glad I decided to stay home tonite. Why don't we use the Woodlands spot more? I always liked it up there. We could always move to Best Buy in Humble.. Never really had a problem with the cops over there, except for the night they were looking for a red Corvette doing 100+.

I went there last night and I haven't seen so many immature jackasses in a long time.

Sad that people can ruin it for everyone

I left as soon as some dude was doing donuts in his POS

Why not move it to a more central location like back in the good ol' days, somewhere along westheimer. This way some of the people who live on the southside will consider coming out more often.

Westheimer= not a good location. Remember the kmart bust a few years ago. If you think that the northside meets got bad, just have one on westheimer. More idiots and dumbasses. It would get shut down the first night.

best buy's actually not a bad idea as long as the Humble PD leave it alone. i don't think it would take too much of the idiots pulling their **** for them to come in and bust it up though.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies have stepped up patrols this weekend along Interstate 45 in north central Harris County.

Between 7 p.m and 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday the sheriff's office, Harris County Constable Pct. 4 and the Department of Public Safety will step up patrols and other activity in about a 6-mile wide area along the freeway between West Road and the Montgomery County line.

Law enforcement organized the effort after residents and others in the area recently complained to authorities about criminal behavior.

Among the targets are violence, burglaries, drunken driving, drug-related activity; car thefts, drag racing on streets, robberies and sex-related crimes.

About 120 law enforcement officers as well several canine units will patrol the area. Helicopters, mobile command post and other equipment will be used.

Wasn't really suggesting westheimer in particular, just somewhere more central. Takes me an hour to get to that NS meet, which is why I've only been twice...lol. IMO it would be a much bigger turnout if the location was more centralized. Keep it on I45 just move it down like 20-25 minutes south.

I hate to say I predicted it, but I predicted it.

We got shut down the same way several years ago. It only takes a few immature idiots to ruin it.

And I have a dismissed "racing side by side" ticket to show for it.

The spot has to move out to an area that does not have a lot of attention. Move it out further North past the Woodlands toward conroe and the 336 loop area...

From the comments in that article:

Where was law enforcement before this request? Well if nothing else, Donut sales should increase along this strip.
