Default Austin Weekend Run March 21st and 22nd

We have a cruise going on the 28th of Feb, and then was planning on trying to set up an Austin run late in March as the weather will be more consistent...thoughts?

To nail down a date, lets do March 21st and 22nd.

I just moved here from Austin living there 15 years so can put us on some killer winding roads, and eat at some Austin hotsposts.....overnighter would be best. There is a dynamite road running from northern Austin (Cedar Park) to Marble Falls and then back around the lake coming in to the southern part of Austin.

Could also probably get some Austin guys to join in as well.

Lime Creek Road? Be careful. Too many people outdrive their abilities on it.

ill come out. been a few years since ive went to Austin. Matt, you should look into doing a Kerrville/hill country cruise after this one goes down. that would be a badass place to catch some scenery shots.

I was going to think about going back the first weekend of May as well. Every year i go to The Luckenbach Car Show and is June 21st this year.....this is a blast and a gorgeous run. Ought to get a group together for that. I usually stay overnight in either Fredericksburg, of Comfort and is a really nice run.

I lived very close to Lime Creek road for 12 years and would not go there...is a slick road for one, and is in Williamson County...pretty tough there.

1431 huh? It is best to bust a right onto 281 and hit PR4 while you are at it. Best road in centex by far!

Might wanna change the date to the 28th because TX 2K9 is the weekend of the 21st and that is something no one wants to miss.
