Default New Project:

Most of you know me for having my old white lt1 camaro which i sold about a year ago. Since then i have owned several more camaros, a sierra, 2 corvettes, and a jeep rubicon. I am now deciding to settle down with just 1 car. I purchased this 2000 single cab shortbed silverado yesterday.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado:
Automatic
5.3L v8
Pewter
tan interior

Motor Plans:
6.0 LQ9 with trex cam

I already have the motor and transmission to drop in just have to get it to the shop one weekend.

Exterior Plans:
Cowl Hood
Roll Pan
SS front bumper
Bed cover
2003 tail lights
HID's
Clear corners
Billet grill
22in wheels
3/4 drop kit
Color match mirrors and grill

Interior:
Leather bucket seats
Center console
All new speakers
Flip up DVD player
10in sub

All of this should be done once i sell my corvette

This is what i am starting with:

Hood:

Also picked up a fiberglass rollpan today.

Wheels:

20x8.5 American Racing Cartels

Ordered my 3/4 drop kit today(Feb.11)

147,000 miles. If any one would want the 5.3 out of it when i swap the motors out just let me know. I will let the whole motor and trans go cheap. Also it has edelbrock shorty headers right now but they are practically worthless.

Yeah hopefully the vette is gone this week so i can start ordering stuff.
I am picking up the hood and roll pan monday or tuesday. Also gonna have the flip up dvd player installed this week.

What wheels should i go with? I was thinking about the boss 330's in chrome. I like the flat spokes and deep lip and the cheap price makes them a good set of wheels for about a year until i get more money.

ehh im not the biggest fan of the boss wheels, check out centerlines or eagle alloys website there wheels are priced good and are light weight to.

id go with these:
http://centerlinewheels.com/wheels_d...id=1&sw_id=344

search over on pt.net and theres loads of info on everything.

yeah those centerlines arent that bad. I really want Boyd Coddington Osiris but i cant find any for a reasonable price. I found a set of your brothers wheels for for $850 with tires but i really want 22's.

yeah its either 20's or 22's. Just depends on the look of the wheels. I found a set of boss 330 20's in lewisville for 1200 with tires i might get. I just like simple wheels. You should just sell me yours!
