They have been milled a little. Final compression will be 11.4.1. We tried 2 cams in testing (mock up LS7 Block, crank, rods and pistons) and they didnt clear the exhaust valve relief. After degreeing the newest camshaft. We are in the clear!

A nice alloy 1 pc valve would add to a lightweight valve train but they are a pretty penny... Sounds like its gonna be nice and make great power. I have been following the 600 rwhp threads and from what I know, there are not a lot of 600 rwhp Z's out there running with nice street manners. Most are making around 580-590rwhp (cut/port heads/cam). Mine makes 552 rwhp with the heads un touched and a nice very well manner cam. I would think if you achieve the 600+ rwhp that you are looking for, your tq numbers should be around 515-520 ish. Good luck on the build!!!
Oh, what do you have in those heads $ wise?

True that a lighter exhaust valve would make the valve train lighter, but in general the exhaust valves smaller size and mass don't make it as critical as the intake valve so I don't think its an issue, just mentioning it I knew you would already know that Jeff.

Agreed, I was just adding a pc of info as to what most are doing on the exhaust valves when changing out the sodium filled 2 pc valves. Thats what I'm planning to run once I get the blower on.
