I've asked a cop friend how to handle this. He told me to keep driving and to call 911. When they ask what emergency there is, you need to tell them the situation and that there is a police officer trying to pull you over. You can ask for an escort to the hospital, and then figure out what the cop wants to do about it when you get to the ER or wherever you go. The dispatch will call the officer and let them know what is going on.

Just FYI. Sad story, I wouldn't have pulled over till I got to the hospital. Even if I didn't have my phone. Put my flashers on wave him on by! Haha
